    1cm GBB Pre-moult?

I'll briefly mention the conditions of the premolt tarantula whether it's a full size adult or a spiderling 1) The abdomen has a black bald spot exactly like the picture thread that hamhock74 has shown you. If you saw my latest feeding video I made yesterday and the one I'm about to upload on...

looks like my tarantula ate her molt!

As I was reading through this entire thread, there's been a lot made of FALSE assumptions being made on my behalf. Even though I'm well known on youtube, that is not to say that I can still be contacted. You can and will expect replies. I just wish this was brought to my attention a lot...

    cyriocosmus perezmilesi

Here's a video of my female...Nearly full grown jd78UGPuDr0 They like it fairly moist and give enough substrate as they burrow just like mcluskyisms said. Awesome species

    cyriocosmus perezmilesi

mcluskyism has it all good. Temperament is relatively docile but very skittish and prone to flick urticating hair. and these little buggers can be very fast. They also are the largest member of the genus.. it gets around a 2-2.5'' legspan if it's female and half of that for a male. They're...

    CYST Severity??

I could very well present in others members. We don't see much T.blondi and apophysis these days...they're rare to get ahold of one. I have a mature pair of T.stirmi and they don't have cysts yet.

Probably just a juvenile Avicularia species. I wouldn't call it minatrix . Minatrix don't develop the characteristic pinktoes at this stage

Comment by 'Jon3800' in media 'P. subfusca or P. bara?'

Off topic to this pic... You want to make a note on your Penny, sadly she's not T.blondi..she's actually T.stirmi, the burgundy variety. Pet stores very commonly import them making it hard to find the true one. A true T.blondi would have a lot of hair on the patella. Penny doesn't I'm...

P.bara 100% based on the linked pic. although this pic doesn't do a good job in differentiating them as both are ventrally similar

Likely a MM Euthalus vulpinus. I agree with Joe, you can't expect us to answer you with NO info on it

Comment by 'Jon3800' in media 'P. pedersini MM??'

From the spec of the leg pattern I do see a resemblance to P.pederseni. It is male I can guarantee you that. If it were a MM, you'd be able to see the bulbous palps. I'm not sure if you watch my videos on youtube...I pinpoint what MM pokies look like, and the palps should dead obvious to...

Comment by 'Jon3800' in media 'H. Maculata?'

I know that's the perks but also the bad of buying from pet stores. They ALWAYS ALWAYS mislabel specimens, and that's why its so important to be level-headed and do research before buying. Fortunately I was able to snag a M.lambertoni female from a petshop that was mislabelled and got it for...

Comment by 'Jon3800' in media 'H. Maculata?'

Necromion While, the pic's not very good in terms of color, but it's definitely H.maculata and not S.calceatum. I used to own a 4.5'' female S.cal before she died of a bad molt, and it looked a lot different than this T. Now I have a 1'' sling as a replacement Although carapaces are...
