    Yeah, this is the most I've ever seen her do. Its a mixture of excavator clay, sand from her natural desert environment and play sand.

    3rd instar c. exilicauda (baja california bark scorpion). This is a small cricket btw. Wish quality could be better but the plastic on the cage is scratched :( All of its siblings are around it eating too but this is the only one visible through the glare.

    @MrGhostMantis look em up on wikipedia. I believe there is a specific bush they like to hang out on. Apparently they are pretty common around here in LA. San Diego county is a great place to find giant desert hairy scorpions too if you are into that. good luck!

    @MrGhostMantis I live in Los Angeles and I found her nearby. She's got so much personality and is quite big too, easily over 3 inches.

    @RezonantVoid That's really interesting, I've seen polymorpha with that same color pattern. That's why they are called polymorpha tho, they have many color morphs. Pretty centipede!
