I'm not sure about that. There is the P. lugardi which I would not be able to tell the difference from a TFC P. murinus. I'm still a rookie in all of this.
I had my C. cyaneopubescens molt on my birthday(my first one), and my P. murinus molt in the middle of April. The GBB is now almost 3" and the OBT can stretch to 5". Here are some pictures. I threw a pic of my G. rosea in for fun. In case anyone was wondering, it was my first molt, not my first...
This is my 2" GBB's first molt in my care, and my first molt. Hopefully all will go well and it will have a new coat when I get home from work. What a great birthday present.
Well I guess I should stop playing with spiders I find in the house. It was pretty fast and actually put up what looked like a threat display when I poked at it. Thanks all for the ID.
I found another in my kitchen. It was actually in the valve of my Britta water dispenser and flushed into my cup when I filled up. It is around an inch long, and was pretty quick. Thanks in advance.
Thats good info. I'm going on vacation in a week for a week and was worried I needed to feed it often. Maybe I'll wait till I get back to feed it again. Telling my buddy he only has to fill the water dishes will put his mind at ease. Thanks all!
I have a 2" GBB that I have had for a few weeks, and I am worried that it is too fat. I gave it a cricket today, and when it came out of its burrow, I was surprised at how large its abdomen was. Is this t overfed? How often do you feed slings? Also, does it look like it is about to molt? Thanks...
Burrow
I posted some pictures of my OBT here.

I like the fact she decided to use the burrow I started for her, because I know where she is when I have to do maintenance. I may not see her all that often, but it's cool to see the ground...

Any ideas about the image tags?
Here are some pictures of my OBT. The first was a miss of the cricket in the right hand corner.
Next is tucking herself in for another try.
Patience, patience, patience. She didn't miss the second time, and was back in the burrow before the flash could recharge. Fast!
I waited a few days to feed mine. Lucille(redhead like Lucille Ball), doesn't seem any more violent than any of my other Ts. She does seem to sense prey further off than the others. My G. rosea is quick to pounce but it seems like the cricket has to touch him. Lucille seems to know as soon as...
Mine took a week before it took to the burrow I started for her. She started to web a little, but now has dug her hole and is locked up tight. It's funny to see her take a cricket. She senses movement, hangs her front legs out of the entrance, pounces and is back in the burrow in the blink of an...
