My G. Porteri has been quite active, it has dug out a burrow with two entrances, it moves its molts around the enclosure, and likes to walk about and web a little. It’s quite cute, but hides if I open its enclosure.
A. Chalcodes is Garnet, B. Cabocla is Rose Quartz, and G. Porteri is Silver. I basically named them after gems, minerals, and metals found near or around their native habitat.
I am still a new keeper, but I got so much joy after my two little slings molted.
The A. Chalcodes cleaned up its own molt and placed its molt off to the side of its burrow. Unfortunately, it has been real shy and does not come out of its burrow as much as when I first got it. I have notices...
My G. Porteri molted today! Sorry for the picture quality, I grabbed the macro lens but i had to take pictures through the plastic because I didn’t want my T to hide.

I got mine yesterday! A tiny Aphonopelma chalcodes, a little baby the size of a dime. She was really docile and did not bolt when I put her in her new enclosure!
