Ohhh well that seems to be good then cause I was just over thinking if they were tarantula mites which could possibly pose a threat to my T, but good thing they're just cleaning mites.:)
Yeah I might have watered it a bit too much than it needs, but I'll do as what you say on drying out the...
So as I was about to feed my sling, I notice that there are some insects crawling on the substrate, I took a closer look at it and it sure doesn't look like springtails, more of a mites to me.
If ever these insects are mites, what should I do?
I agree to what @EtienneN said that environmental factors like temperature could really play a big part on how often it would molt, how often you feed them also play a big part on it.
A sling would also takes all it's chance to grow fast in order to just get out of the bottom of the food chain...
Ohhh well that should explain everything, I tried looking up everywhere the parts of the centipede so I could like know which is which but haven't found a single one which explains them all.
Yeah someone else might and I think it's still a bit too small to really pin point what species it is...
Well providing the information you told me to give, I caught it here in the Philippines, and about the photo, I'm new to centipedes so I don't know where is the terminal and the spiracle, and I definitely think that my camera wont be able to get a detailed photo of the antennae because of how...
Well I was taking a bath then suddenly I notice this small worm like thing creeping up along the edges of the wall, then I take a closer look and realize it's a centipede, so I rushed to my room and got a container and caught it. I haven't decided yet if I wanna keep it or just release it back...
btw one last question, if any how I became so unlucky in the long run and that one nymph survived, reproduced, and made a small colony. What should I do to get rid of them? If ever should I result to using pesticide then how many hours should my Ts be cleared of that room until the chemical...
Yeah I know but what I am concerned about is for the long run, because I have read somewhere that lateralis roach could reproduce without males. Thanks for the fast reply!
So i was feeding my slings with baby lateralis roach when the baby roach decided to jump off the table now I can't seem to find it anywhere. Should I be concerned about having a roach infestation or not?
Well it depends on how big the feeder is compare to the sling, 1 out of my 4 slings took live food at 1 inch and all of them really took live feeders at 1.5-2 inch. But in my experience it also depends on how hungry they are, like for example you're feeding them like every other day then you...
just click upload file then select the pic, after selecting them, after a few seconds the pics should show up below this reply box if not then try to wait more or do the whole process again. then just click upload
Your sling might be just full and is fasting, the circumstances may vary...
