I just saw my h.longimanus biting her hide. Her hide is a tree bark and she actually bit it and got some pieces into her mouth after some time I decided to interrupt her and she went back inside her hide and spit pieces of the bark that she got. Anyone here experienced the same?
Does anyone know what species of centipede are these? These are from the Philippines.
The first one is about 7-8 inches long and an adult female, it already produced a brood.

I think I was bitten three times. The effect is not deadly, not even painful. Unless you get bitten by their more venomous cousins. They look really similar. And allergies might complicate things.
