I travel a lot for school and as long as the enclosure is misted before you go it's okay. I've left them for 10 days at one point. With enough good and moisture they can be fine for a long time.

You can put the ivorys in there, I have an enclosure that co-habs both N. americanus and Ivory species. They requires basically the same environment. I would either bake the leaves/cork bark or freeze them overnight to make sure that no bugs hatch out of the leaves or anything.
