Tunnel entrance, don't think I'd stick my phone in there when she's hanging about. Too early for her to come out so I can get away with it now. Usually she's out by the time I get back from work, 4.20.
Other pet hole but this one's hungry.
I keep Triblonotus too, they're all terrified of my...
I can't wait till she grows out of that tiny tube in the top left, I just want to pull it out but she's in there in a flick. Hope she chooses one of the other two. Got a bud on the air plant too, far more sensible than the other one but so far it's under control. She spend most afternoons...
Dude, sounds like the great mother spider responsible for weaving the cosmos.
Your writing is a wonder to take in. I'd love to know what you've been reading to inspire such creative wordsmithery.
I had a crazy dream, nothing like HybridReplicate. That would be cool as, more like Leila.
There...
My Carribbean Diamond, think I got a girly. She's so elegant.
Here's my harpactira pulchripes, think this one's a guy. I've had them both from slings and the CB has overtaken him growth wise very quickly. He's dragging about a roach. Had some comments about the lack of substrate, I've added...
so I made the transfer yesterday, I think the spider had some problems with the Spanish moss so I took it out this morning. Slight accident with the probe meant it over heated a little this morning before I got up but fingers crossed it was only a momentary hickup. So far it's explored a little...
All finished, super happy with my conversion. Managed to squeeze enough silicone from a tube I had from another project. Got the plastic cut and delivered for free, just had to drill it. Drill bit cost me 3.50. thanks again Arachnoboard.
got a 170x160x2mm UV transfering Acrylic plastic sent to me free by the awesome folks at BayPlastics. Hit them up for your projects, massive shout out. Just got to drill it out and silicone in. Too scared to go with hot glue, it'll warp everything and this piece fits like a glove. still plenty...
My Tapinauchenius sp Caribbean diamond moulted and stuffed it into the entrance of its tube. I think I saw it's legs yesterday and I'm hoping it's now showing adult colours.
Thing is i figure potentially im going to set up perhaps five of these things eventually and i could do with saving myself the work in this respect and spend time on other aspects. Ive seen this guy who cuts to order and is interested in diy. will report my findings
Tillandsias would be my starting point, id then explore options from there. At the end of the day any Bio-Active enclosures intention is to create a bio-tope. If they don't work together you'll end up losing parts of it. A fully enclosed ecosystem is very stable. Give it six months to settle...
Looking for something like this. Don't really want to have to go as far as Korea to get some. Thinking of getting in touch with a plastics fabricator and getting a quote for some to be lazer cut. Does anyone have any better solutions. Don't really want to use glass as i'd like to maintain plants...
I have drainage on all my bio-active vivs where possible, you have to be careful with digging species, but its really helpfull for maintaining high levels of humidity and keeping a small reservoir of water. You'll want to be able to see the water level in that layer so you can top up and make...
