Guidance needed! A. liouvillei reproduction attempt

Today, I paired my A. liouvillei and observed for a long time, nothing happened so I stepped away, in a very short time frame I came back to check on them and found a weird gel in a straight line and some white stuff that I assumed is poop inside a plastic hide. There is a stone he could've used...

Breeding size for Leiurus Haenggii and Androctonus Liouvillei, other information not commonly known?

So apparently my L.H pair (and the others honestly) are more than big enough to pair so I am going to attempt it today and record. Both pairs are easily around 3 inches and bulky. Probably already in last instar for a while. Will update soon. I love the A.L pair too much to chance anything but...

    Sexing Deathstalker

Is it safe to say that if a LQ or Androctonus is able to be sexed, then it is old/big enough to breed and reproduce?

Which species can spray venom? Is there a list?

I have a 1.1 pair of both... - Leiurus Haenggii - Androctonus Liouvillei I have never heard of LH or LQ etc spraying venom but always been more of a reptile guy so I could be severely mistaken. I could have sworn someone warned me of this possibility with the AL's but the thread is gone...

Is there anything fun native to Southern Ontario

Honestly it sounds like a predatory flatworm or more likely predatory aquatic earthworm of some kind. It is interesting though because that sounds exactly like the kinda thing that would be fun to keep.

Scorps progression thread - gonna be fun!

Hey everyone, so quite some time ago I had a very nice Tarantula/Scorpion collection and then I decided to focus on my reptiles. Well, that's going very well so I figured I'd dip my toes back into the invert world. Incoming - x1 "Red sea" Leiurus quinquastriatus x1 Androctonus liouvillei...

Is there anything fun native to Southern Ontario

I completely agree but whatever there is I'll run with it lol. Kinda tough considering import and export hassle and cost. I know Pseudoscorpions are found in Ontario but thats my limit of knowledge on that. Toe biters, water bugs, are also in Ontario Besides that I am lost and even then...

I am very interested in predatory flatworms/planaria, velvet worms, nemertea, pseudoscorpions, and more. Mainly looking for info on native options however limited, or similar species adapted to the area perhaps? Also to clarify, I am mostly interested in finding things locally. I do like the...
