Hmm I was thinking about the same thing. Maybe ask the person buying the T 5 simple questions about that species and if they can’t answer 3 out of 5 questions they can’t buy the T.

1.5 months is not a long time for a T to stop eating she could be going into a molt or she’s simply not hungry. As long as her abdomen looks healthy she’ll be fine

Depending on the species my Ts will do this if the sub is too dry for their liking

I can see my T has been storing her boluses on one side of the hide but it’s impossible for me to clean them without picking up her hide. Any thoughts? What do you guys do? Thanks peeps

Got it at Petco aka the devil they put her in a hamster to go box... it was my first T sold as a unsexed juvenile so it’s probably WC I love her and she’s probably one of the most active out of the bunch <3

Yeah that’s true we should do more studies on them in their own habitat before anything else is done. still with that being said it’s always good news that there are new spices of any type of life just being discovered in the wild.

This species is absolutely beautiful I’m glad there’s new Ts out there thriving in the wild. Makes me happy :D

Try packing the substrate down Ts usually don’t like walking on fluffy surfaces. If it falls at least it’s not high up and will probably be fine

whats the differents of a T in a hole in the wild and a T in a hole in captivity how is the air flow different? In the wild their burrows are made of screens?
