Does anybody have any recommendations for a desert scorpion enclosure? I feel like a 10 gallon tank might be a bit much for a desert hairy or dune scorpion. And I want to make sure the enclosure doesn’t melt or warp under a heat lamp.
I would introduce my cousins and nephews/nieces but none of my family really likes any of my inverts, at best they tolerate them:(. Maybe if I have kids someday then they will like them.
I would leave him in his normal enclosure so he doesn't get stressed. You can try crushing the head of cricket/superworm and placing it in front of his burrow.
I think its probably sand sticking to poop, you could wet a q-tip and try to wipe it off but I don't think thats necessary unless its hindering the scorpions ability to defecate.
I found out she's not pre-molt because she ate a cricket while wandering around the other night (two things that do not equal pre-molt) so since I have the morning off I'm gonna clean her terrarium and change out the sub, without her in it of course. I'll just use the old coco fiber for...
