    Pokie sling not eating

Gross? how so? The careful handling a P. Metallica sling while transporting to an alternative enclosure is hardly going to cause excessive trauma to either the creature or myself. Ah ok, I haven't experienced a sling moult before. He/she can sit with legs (all 7 of them!) splayed or...

    Drinking

‘‘Tis a rarity! They probably drink at night. My big T has taken to pooing in her water bowl instead of drinking from it

    Pokie sling not eating

I bought a pokie sling two months ago. He/she is full of life and has access to water etc but hasn’t eaten at all! I’ve tried live micro crickets, freshly dead micro crickets, flightless fruit flies, small wax worm..... nothing. He/she runs away terrified or is totally dis-interested. I’ve left...

    Flexin’ spood

Just found my red knee in a weird position! He/she has been very active the past few days following her molt two weeks ago. Didn’t even know they could comfortably let themselves fold like this.

    House spider bite?

I think it’s two separate bite attempts. There is a pinprick in the Centre of each one. Can’t look any closer as it’s on the back of my thigh! The swelling is my body’s usual response to flea & mosquito bites, so I’m guessing even a tiny spider bite would be the same. It wasn’t as itchy as flea...

    House spider bite?

Hellooooo. I love my T,s (safe in their enclosures) but I woke up this morning with a huge bite on my leg, then this little dude wandered out my duvet, definitely a male house spider. Any coincidence? Didn’t think house spiders would be able to bite through my elephant thigh skin! No fleas in...
