    Evolution of our collections?

About to order my/our first Tarantula. Been researching for several months now. Have decided that I will gradually get and raise slings of every Brachypelma that I can get. They are just gorgeous and so varied. I also want an Acanthoscurria geniculata...wow. Just today my wife informed me that...

The Future of the T. Hobby (Mainstream) Discussion

I became interested in Tarantula keeping in late 2018...October/November because my wife started me watching some feeding videos. That morphed into starting some research into proper care. Which lead me here through a mention by Tom Moran on his Youtube channel. I decided from the first that I...

    Brachypelma dilemma

Still waiting for warm weather and deciding on species before ordering first tarantula. But my 5 year old Granddaughter informed me today(while looking over my shoulder) that I will be getting her that pretty black and red one...Brachypelma auratum. So ya thats my vote LOL.

@Minty Cover the tub hole...LOL Thanks I might have actually forgotten that. I am actually laughing out loud right now! Really leaning toward A. geniculata or N. chromatus to go along with my A. chalcodes.

    New keeper Questions.

So had an interesting talk with my wife over coffee this afternoon before work. She commented on the fact that I have been reading about Tarantula species for close to 3 weeks now and am not ordering my first for at least another week. Asked if keeping 3 or 4 is really much more work then just...

GBB or Brazilian Blue? Which is more beginner friendly?

I have a question i regards to the C. cyaneopubescens and instead of starting a new thread I will ask here. Been considering a GBB as a first/second T and was wondering if they are semi-arborial? Many of the videos I have watched seem to have branches and more height above the substrate than a...
