    My recent millipede haul!

Last weekend I went to a local park and collected 7 new Narceus annularis! I didn’t feel too bad about taking that many because my wife and I counted at least 30 dead ones along the walking trails. It’s a shame that people would just carelessly crush them considering they are very easy to spot...

How large a container can I keep isopods in?

Hi, So I’m currently keeping some Porcelio scaber in a shoebox sized Rubbermaid container and their population has exploded exponentially. Should I just get other similar sized containers and make other colonies or would they be ok in a large bin?

    Pandinus imperator versus Archimandrita tesselata

I was wondering about that 2nd vid, could it be the scorpion was reacting to something the roach had emmited? I know that roaches are capable of defending themselves by emmiting a nasty smelling (and probably tasting) fluid. D

    Update On Crabs!

I have heard of some freshwater crabs (in Africa I think) that actually reproduce like crayfish (or yabbies for you Phil :-) ) in that they carry their young underneath them. If this is the case with these little fellows then you might have some luck with breeding them! Don
