I have a grammostola actaeon and it's pretty active. It's constantly moving dirt around and making the place more homey. And I have a Chilobrachys Sp. Electric Blue and it's my second most active until recently (think it is in premolt). It's constantly working on its dirt tunnel.

I got a grammostola actaeon tarantula and I keep it in dry substrate with a water dish. It's quite active and built a "tarantula" made canyon around it's hole and has a great personality. It's pretty fast though haha.

I mean it's a lesson learned. I wasn't aware that they go for pennies on a dollar. But getting upset isn't going to fix the issue. It's the cost of learning. Also, I wasn't looking for a female in particular. Just the experience/practice with them.

Yeah. It was weird. The temp was around 33 degrees out and there was a heat pack and the container felt warm. I tried that paint brush method and nothing. Just as a side note, I have received tarantulas when it was colder and the wet napkin was kinda cold and they are still alive now.
