    Megaphobema mesomelas maturity?

Possibly find him a female to breed with. We need more of these in Europe anyways.

    Apparently she's arboreal now.

Molt gone wrong (partial leg missing)

I wouldn't worry about that. Tarantulas can have bad molts at any time for no particular reason, what's important is it will regrow lost part of leg. Don't worry. I had my C. versicolor sling lose a leg during molt and years later I still don't think I should've done anything differently.

    Rehousing safety for pokies etc

I recommend you check out Tom Moran's video of O. violaceopes (ex. L. violaceopes) rehouse. He had A huge box prepared with lots of towels and stuff around in case of tarantula trying to run away. They will usually try to hide under something and that thing seems to work well when things go...

Don't worry, it has cork bark which I gently removed to snap a quick pic :)

    1.0 Xenesthis immanis

Freshly molted, most likely a male. I can't believe how fast they grow. He was so tiny when I got him in September.

    Xenesthis intermedia not eating?

Like @Konstantin Konstantinov already pointed out, feeding any tarantula every 2 days is an overkill. For slings feeding once or twice a week is enough. At this point your tarantula might have filled up its belly and decided it doesn't want to eat anymore. Other option is premolt. After...

    My own enclosure design

where do you get your glass from for your builds? US

Do you know what type of glass did they give you price for? What we use in Poland is the cheapest float type glass that's . We don't really do anything with it, except for making sure the edges can't cut fingers but that can be done at home. In Europe most commonly used is 4mm thick glass. I...

    My own enclosure design

I changed design a bit since cutting out rectangles in glass is rather expensive. I went for a small piece of acrylic with holes cut out between two pieces of glass. I had to use some sort of frame between those as silicone won't keep glass and acrylic together. Anyways, I made the prototype...

where do you get your glass from for your builds? US

You could go for European style of glass enclosures and have front door opening a guillotine style.

    Today in the Spider Room?

Today I spent some quality time with my A. chalcodes watching her bring tons of dirt out of her fresh burrow. Also, my C. cyaneopubescens decided to make new hide next to door of her enclosure. She made it nice and cozy, webbed up perimeter, then left it and now she's roaming enclosure again...

    New tarantulas

You are ready when you think you are. No need for validation of others. Handling - simply better not to do it. You introduce your tarantula to unknown environment and you never know how it's going to react. It could fall on its own or it could be your own reaction due to it running or...

    OBT enclosure...

Best thing you can do is to give your OBT options. Provide lots of substrate with premade burrow and also give anchor points in case it didn't actually want to burrow.

Suggestions for substrate to use for tarantulas

I use mix of sedge peat, spider bedding from habistat and coco fiber. Works fine for me and keeps moisture when it has to.
