    Introduce Yourself

I get where you're coming from with the mental health problems. I go through them myself and been interested for a while although if you told me that as a kid that I would, I wouldn't be able to imagine that. Became really ill physically and unable to do weights anymore just go for walks now so...

What do people like about Nebo Whitei?

Just messaging to say I think I've came across a species you were talking about earlier in our conversation, while watching TV. Uroctonus mordax. What a beautiful species. Red Forest Scorpion. I'm not a lover of the usual huge bulky Forest Scorpions but these are one of the best looking...

What do people like about Nebo Whitei?

Oh definitely I don't think I could go on a holiday abroad and not check out the wildlife. People can keep their holidays in Spain going to nightclubs if I was in Spain I'd be looking for Buthus Occitanus and to be honest it's just like England in the sun really Id rather go where the real...

    Nebo Whitei care

So for my Scorpling the smallest faunarium I could find is an exo terra mini. L 7" W 4" H 5". The heat mat I ordered and thermostat all seems to be bigger than I thought and the probe looks a good inch and a half to 1.75" so with substrate wouldn't fit in the tiny 2" acrylic cube I planned on...

What do people like about Nebo Whitei?

The heat mat will be going on the side of the enclosure rather than the bottom. I may not need the heat mat too often in a couple of months. Yeah I'll be looking to keep it around 25 c but being an arid species usually temperatures drop of a night in deserts. That said, in the middle east I'm...

    Lasiocyano Sazimai - DKS?

This is a species I've heard a lot of people have had problems with but it's usually when they are slings. Is humidity the right level? How is your T getting on since last night has their been any improvement?

    Introduce Yourself

I've not been on for a while until recently so I'll introduce myself properly. I'm from Runcorn, in England in the UK. Interested in so much Reptile and Invert wise. Finally getting my first on Wednesday I will get my Nebo Whitei Scorpling. Any Invert keepers feel free to add me on Facebook as...

What do people like about Nebo Whitei?

Yeah it's a great forum. ONLY 400 miles 😂😂 That would be most of this country. A 50 mile journey is considered long enough in the UK haha. Yeah I was worried about Mycosis. I was advised just use dried loose excavator clay, the fella that sold me it has kept them like that for years, the Arid...

What do people like about Nebo Whitei?

Thanks. I wish we had scorpions in the North West of England!! We do have a small population of Euscorpius Flavicaudis though (I believe there's been a change in the genus name now although I forget what that is) in the South of England. It looks like a cool little Scorpion. Quite a few...

    Favorite Species Thread

An old post but Parabuthus Villosus Orange Morph is one I wish I could own but it is on the DWA list in the UK so I can't. Nebo Whitei is going to be my first Scorpion I'm ordering that species tomorrow. 1 cm Scorpling. Do you keep it without a Water Bowl? I know they're an arid species but need...

So I'm getting a Nebo Whitei Scorpling for my first Scorpion. What does everyone think of this species. Have you kept them? What did you like about them the most?

UK Non-DWA Scorpions with small thin claws

P Spinigerus is a beauty I do love the desert species. I'm gonna check out Paruroctonus Silvestrii I've not seen that species. These may be two more species on my tongue get list. If I was gonna get one of the "Giant" species I'd go with the Desert hairy over the Asian Forest and Emperor every time.

UK Non-DWA Scorpions with small thin claws

Just interesting that evolutionary wise, and it makes sense, Scorpions with stronger venom don't need larger claws, but as with the KingSnake-CoralSnake rhyme... That doesn't always hold true 100% of the time and I think there may be at least one highly venomous species with large claws. I was...

Most PAINFUL (Not most venomous) Non Buthid or Hemiscorpius sting.

I suppose that's true for most foreign objects causing mechanical damage and foreign substances causing pain etc, that the pain differs from person to person. Good point.

Scorpions and Excavator Clay for newbies.

Would a 1 or Would a 1 or 2 litre be more appropriate. 1 litre for a moult or two then move it to the 3 litre?

Scorpions and Excavator Clay for newbies.

I've decided on a Nebo Whitei 1 cm Scorpling/Juvenile. I'm guessing the 3 litre RUB may be excessive for now or could I keep it on there for a few moults? Thankyou.
