I attached 3 photos right? You can see them near the head. Thank you for your info though. I got them as clean up crew for the snake feces so seperating them kinda defeats their purpose hehe.
Hi everone
i made a stupid a while ago. I bought extra wooden terraria decorations, but I didn’t clean them before putting them in my terrariums. Shortly after, I noticed mytes on my millipedes. I assumed the decorations would be clean since I ordered them online, but now I realise i should...
Andddddd im back to worrying again. At least I dont have to feel bad about mistreating her. Sounds like this wasn’t my fault. I really hope she’ll recover again. I have a sub-adult male and I had big plans for her :(
Alright thank you guys. I thought the other spots on the bottom of her back were the hair kicking spots. I thought this was something else lol. Thanks for easing my mind. Dont wanna lose my biggest and oldest girl ^_^
Hey folks,
my adult female stirmi has a white spot on her back and I wondered if it can cause harm?
if so, is there anything to do about it?
I have no idea if it’s molt (if thats even possible to grow on her back), or an infection or simply a hairless pimple or something
Any info appreciated ^_^
wow really??? Im breeding snakes and chameleons and later on went to tarantulas and scorpions. I never knew the same rules didnt apply to tarantulas. Still learning huge things after 2 years, big thanks.
To be completely honest, I can’t recall :s I have about a 100 tarantula’s and also other animals so i’m quite crowded. she always behaved normally so I never inspected her on limb count, which I feel embarassed for now. that should be something im supposed to know. I’m positive she didnt have a...
My female smithii went through a shed and came out with one weird leg. Is this a problem? Will this fix itself or should I interfere somehow? My friend said I should cut her leg off and she will grow a new one but I feel like that’s the worst advice ever and i’m not planning on doing that...
So I bought my first millipedes and wanted to put them together in 1 enclosure. I’m thinking about getting a bigger enclosure but my question is if the setup is good?
i’m think about 2 things:
1. Bigger enclosure
2. Hiding spots like cork bark
I have the next species:
4x Telodeinopus Aouti
3x...
I have a lot of tarantulas and they are so much easier than scorpions. Theyrs smart and design their own stuff etc. With scorpions im worried everyday that i find them dead because of something stupid at the next check up. Warmth, enclosure + setup, feeding intervals, leaving them alone because...
Yes my 2nd LQ of the same size died. But, I also have an adult breeding couple, tho unsuccesful in breeding, and 2 scorplings. Im scared of overheating/dehydration if i keep them warmer. If i give them a bottle cup with water then the next day i find a dry cup completely filled with sand or...
I have a room full of animals with a constant temperature of around 75F. My scorpion shelf is right next to the 2 heat lamps so they would be around 80F i think? My 4 other deathstalkers are eating fine tho. I also have like 30 other scorpions doing just fine. You think keeping her (or him)...
Not really, the boxes had a male and female sign on them. Im not good at sexing myself so i believed him. He offered a male and female together to me for €18, so he came over like he knew what he was doing, but im really not sure what gender it is.
So no shed or visible growth in a year is normal? Eating 3 crickets in over a year is also normal? The seller at the fair gave me a male and a female, but the male died for unknown reasons after about 5 months. The male also never wanted to eat a lot. Maybe 2 crickets in those 5 months. That’s...
Hi everyone,
I bought this little deathstalker 2nd of august last year, so i got her for almost 14 months now. Problem is she never wants to eat. During the 14 months that i’ve had her, she has eaten no more than 3 crickets. That’s it. She has never molted as far as i know and she never grew...
