I think if you are going to take something out of your H mac's enclosure every single day (even for the purposes of cleaning), your life is going to get a lot more exciting lol.
Ok, so I have moved and now my room has been getting about 50 degrees F at night. I am fine in the cold, but I have moved the Ts to my moms room where it is warm. My questions is, do I need to put the L mactans in a warmer part of the house as well? I could move them, but space is an issue...
Well, I ended up leaving it in the container and making my brother hold it. However, when I went to pack up my other bigger Ts, I noticed my A huriana was also premolt. I ended up tossing her into a larger papertowel lined container in case she molted, there would be enough room. Luckily, nobody...
My A huriana is always hanging out in the open. She has a hammock web but and she sits on it all the time, but it doesn't hide her at all. She is also the largest T I have thus far.
My N chromatus would be 2nd on the list. He hides, but whenver I walk close by he runs out and threatens me, so...
Ok, I am moving today and I took my small Ts in their containers yesterday and they were fine. However, today I am moving my big Ts and I had planned to pack them (shipping style) and drive with them so they don't bounce around in their enclosures. However, my N chromatus has had a black booty...
1. A versicolor
2. N chromatus, G aureostriata
3. L parahybanas grow pretty fast, as well as A geniculata (though I don't *know* what grows fastest, it depends on many factors
4. Mine is S calceatum, but I think it's just a fluke.
In my opinion, a good compromise of the first three...

I live in an apartment that has a "no exotics" policy. About a week ago, the maintenance man came knocking cause apparently one of my pipes in the bathroom was constantly running water or something.
I said, "yeah you can check it out, hang on just a second, I have to put something on" and I...
What a waste of a good tarantula. I'm a vegetarian, so I don't eat animals, but from a food perspective, it doesn't make much. It would take at least 10 tarantulas to yield enough for a snack. And tarantulas aren't that cheap. :shame:

The minions and I at NARBC this year...
and the Versi and I... I am training her to be a living hair clip. She can hold my hair back with her fangs hahaha.
LMFAO! thats hilarious. I was told by the guy I got my lobsters from that they cannot have an open water source. Maybe it would be do-able if it was quite shallow, I don't know. The babies are so teensy I can see how they might all drown.
are they the ones that are like redish and shiny? I think I got one in a shipment with a black widow once. it was pretty yucky, but they can't be as bad as the lobsters if they cant climb. I can do what I do with the little dubia... just grab in the midst of them with the tweezers. or scoop them...
