Hey there; my P. Sazimai is about 2.5" conservatively. The molt looks like it might be good enough for sexing now. Any assistance is appreciated; the gift of sexing is still eluding me. Thanks so much Partners!

Having a hard time figuring how to sex. This one is 5"-5.5" and has molted twice in my care while at 4" and higher. Not hooked has me thinking female but I don't think I see lady on this one and admittedly am not good at seeing the differences in the sexing from one to another in the sexing gallery

3" DLS; molted about 2 weeks ago but couldn't salvage the molt. Anyone able to tell with this species? I still haven't figured this sexing thing out :) Thanks

    Aggressive A.geniculata?

Fun species the A. Geniculata is, and cool looking. I'd like to say mine is interesting and unique but it's not. Earlier today I went to refill the water dish by having a couple drops of water fall through an air hole straight into its dish in the corner. It charged across the enclosure, beat...

    Avicularia Avicularia

This guy/gal is now about 4.5 DLS. Have never been able to get a good underside shot to sex that way but finally got a molt I could unravel. Lastmolt was 4.5 months ago. No sign of hooks or those boxing peds... getting kind of big and am hoping to put sexing behind me. Thanks!

Homoeomma sp. "Blue vs Thrixopelma lagunas

Oh man... I bought a "Homoemma sp. Blue" last week, then came across this thread today. Thanks for all the detailed info; worth keeping an eye on this developing story as it gets older (just a 0.75" at the moment). I hope I love it the same, even if it turns out to be a Small Thrixopelma...

Nice pic; can't wait for my sling to grow up (only about 1/2"-3/4' now). Gorgeous spider and great position to get such a clean pic. You're right though, such a fragile state... but still fierce! :)

    stacking enclosures?

Fascinating levels of Kumbaya goin on meow~ This makes two things the entire community agrees on unanimously. T's and stacking... stacking T's. Coincidentally, Dark Den just made some neat custom stacking enclosures.

    A. Avic enclosure check

Just a follow up for those that helped with, or find useful, the content in the Avic enclosure advice. I lowered the flat to give more room for foliage and opened up the plane to give more freedom east/west to the Avic. That space was used to outline with leaves. I finished up by buying a mess...

    A. Avic enclosure check

Appreciate that feedback. I will work to build the foliage up and create that security. Regarding the water; I've been in tune with the abdomen size (full but not obese; no collapse or shrivel) and am confident in the health. I'll put the needed effort to the feeding journal to aid...

    A. Avic enclosure check

Hi all. Been doing my research and think I covered everything. Due to need, after initial husbandry errors at the time I acquides Darth Pink, I quickly picked up on of Jaime's 8x8x14 kits and went to work. I made mistakes; You name it... exo-terra screen, enough water to fill a camel, campfire...
