What Kind of Mite is This?!

These mites have been in my vivarium for months ever since I set it up. I've tried adding more springtails for food competition, mite spray(no animals in the viv), and nothing works. Any ideas?

    Millipede Escaped

Title says It all. Forgot to shut lid on enclosure when misting. The enclosure is on a bookshelf so I must have fallen off of it to be able to reach the ground. I thoroughly went through the substrate but only found 3 of the 4 that were in there. Any tips to find it?

Has anyone ever tried raising bagworms?

Bagworms or tent worms? Bag worms usually feed on pine trees. You would have to change leaves every other day depending on how many you have. Have to keep well ventilated, if not mold will grow.

My Opinion: Keeping Trilobite Beetles (Platerodrilus spp.) In Captivity

If they actually do feed on fungal patches, it would be pretty easy to propogate the fungus. If someone could isolate the microfauna, they could possibly propogate it just like springtails.

In that case, I will contact APHIS and ask if they are legal in Oklahoma.

They aren't illegal where I live because they cannot survive here. Giant African Land Snails are definitely illegal in the U.S. because they are considered an invasive species.
