I like this idea but I have to say a space heater in a closet definitely sounds like a BAD IDEA. I must say Mack’s oil heater is probably a much safer option.

Sorry to hear about the sick bdf beetle. I also have four of these beetles for well over a year now. They are very hardy actually but I’m not expert in their behaviors. Despite beetles typically living months to a year this species lives for a surprisingly long time. 5 - 10 + years. Anyway...

I bought a bunch of blue death feigners maybe a year and a half ago. Awesome beetles but as for breeding them I’ve been told “good luck “ from many people. Sarcastically of course but hey these beetles have longevity. They live forever and they’re blue. Haha
