Hmm... correctional surgery? I think I would mess up the situation rather then helping it
We'll see how things go, at first sight it acts normal, I will keep this post updated if I see any changes.
Sure Turgut, I'll send the specimen to Jörg Rosenberg if it dies.
Yes, that's right, all pictures are from the same specimen after the molt, so the first picture show the good spiracles in front. The bad spiracles are the last 3 pairs.
But i guess internally something more is wrong since the areas look more swollen and that one pair of limb legs...
One of my Scolopendra heros castaneiceps molted couple of weeks ago...
Something went bad looking at some of the spiracles.
Normal spiracles:
Spiracles after molt:
Detail pic of bad spiracle:
After looking for other rarities I also noticed that the segments with the bad spiracles look...
Hmyeah, you are right. It would be stupid to think 2nd black tergite only would come from black females...

I also lost some adult species by keeping them to warm a couple of years ago.
I...
Nope, didn't sexed it yet. Need to buy a soda club... Will look for it on "2dehands" shop soon. I'll let you know the result, certainly if it would be a male.
I also need to sex my others...
Hehe, this is funny, i see you busy disassembling your keyboard, hehe
@ Steven: great job. Nice to here everything is going well. Curious about the color pattern of the second batch.
This week i recieved an order of millipedes labeled Aphistogoniulus sp. madagascar. This should be a fire millipede.
It was very clear these were mislabeled and they look very similar to the Archispirostreptus gigas wich i also have, although i do see some difference in coloration of the legs...
Well, I had a similar problem with a cherry red, the link is in this thread.
But mine did eat very well and didn't seem to have a problem with it, so I kept it dry (to avoid mites on that place) with a dish.
It lived for about half a year under that condition until it died a couple of months ago...
