Is my T dehydrated or is something else wrong?

Did you make those enclosures yourself?

I need a new new world!

There is no way would I dislike your description of a T. Maybe my fat fingers hit something while I was browsing on mobile. Sorry about that

Tarantula caught on duct tape (fluff)

This showed up on my feed. Thought it was interesting: https://www.thisisinsider.com/veterinarians-save-tarantula-video-2018-10 I can't believe they were using their bare hands. And I wonder how toxic the adhesive remover is

hoping for some reassurance re my sling

That is a cool idea. I have lots of canning jars at my disposal. I'm glad to hear your slings do well in them despite limited (or no?) cross ventilation. I made a few improvements. Overnight, the pulcher went to crazy town and webbed from substrate almost to the lid and I felt bad destroying...

hoping for some reassurance re my sling

Very true, experience is invaluable. And no, I don't want to interact with the spider. I have a healthy respect for him/her. I want him/her to live a long, happy, undisturbed life inside the enclosure. The T is just shy of 1" Maybe if he/she stretched their toes out they'd make it. If you...

hoping for some reassurance re my sling

Thanks. The thought did occur to me but thought I'd ask around. Ah, perhaps a bit impatient and optimistic. :shame: I hope I can do right by him/her with enough reading. :bookworm: I left a cricket in there overnight and it managed to drown itself in the water dish that I had placed higher...

    leaving slings for 14 dAYS

Thanks guys for your advice! This applies to me too. I just got my first slings (first Ts ever) and tonight remembered I have a work trip coming up and I was sweating bullets trying to figure out if my slings will be okay. This is a huge weight off my mind. Arachnoboards to the rescue!

Review by 'bathsheba' on item 'Inland Sea Exotics'

First time T owner. I bought a b boehmi, thailand black and a p pulchra. My slings were all alive on arrival and seem to be healthy. I would definitely purchase from him again.
