I found her in the kitchen under the counter overhang. She can for sure climb glass. She is fast but not lateralis fast
We found a male wood roach a few months into moving in during the same month as now.
So do you think it's a wood roach? I know wood roaches don't breed indoors just want to...
Just found this in my house and get freaked out!
I have colonies of lateralis, hisser, dubia, craniifer. This is not one of them.
Doesn't look like either american or german cockroach so what is it? Should I be worried? Could it be a female wood roach? http://bugguide.net/node/view/283587
I'm not sure in the exact numbers, I'm speculating close to 30... To be honest I wasn't planning on nearly this many. I have 6 of them preordered from a friend I do plan on keeping only a few of them or maybe half. Wondering if these little ones can eat pin heads. Then again when I used to breed...
Thank you all for the wonderful comments! I transferred mom and the babies to the 30 gallon tank.I will post new pictures soon, can't wait for them to finally molt and go exploring

Well, for a wound put some flour on it which will act as a coagulant to prevent and stop any bleeding/liquid loss. It doesn't always work the first time, so you will need to keep a close eye on it to make sure and reapply as needed. Could we get a picture?
Thank you! Can't wait to have these little ones running around. Thinking a 30 gallon communal tank with some nice arboreal decorations.

Was able to only get off one shot which wasn't too bad. Not sure if I need to touch it up.

Trying to figure out how I want to go about the transfers when they leave their mother. I'm thinking I will separate them like I did my jacksoni...
Well, it happened she finally popped but I scared her into her skull cave when I turned on the lights and noticed the babies. I have a terrible photo that I took through glass with my macro lens but with no light and nothing to judge on for focus here they are.
Awesome are there any care guides or breeding guides for them especially since they live up to two years :) ?
Also, would they be safe to feed to my frogs.
I just found this female monster hopping across my living room, I have never seen a cricket like this before let alone in Indiana.
I think its a camel cricket but why have I never seen one in my entire life? Do I need to do anything to get rid of them, I've only seen one.
Being a female...
Well, after the pacman had a water change I paced him in the water which he stayed for a few minutes.then I dropped in a cricket which he ate! He did want the second one though. He was all puffed up and it was cute.

That's for the reply, no offense taken.the pixie had just eaten and stepped in the dish.I've be changing it daily with conditioner and purified water. Should I clean it each time he gets in from hunting?
So I should just let them stay in the range of 70-80f or the natural fluctuation of our...
OK, I added a timer to the mix, so its on a 12 hour night/day schedule but since the tanks are in the living room I have it start at 8am then it stays on 2 hrs then off for 1 and repeated until 8pm. We have a lot of large windows in the living room so they have a day/night already just adding...
Darn,I paid 60$ for him plus tax it's there any dead giveaways as to him being a dwarf? I might return him cuz I want a giant. Though I do like him.

All in all he has eaten a dozen crix and a gravid dubia and still is hungry :) so I'm assuming its not much of an issue for him but does he look under weight?
Pixie in big tank pacman in small one. The pixie is to the right of the top corner of water bowl. Pacman is in the middle left of his kk and has not moved only blinked.
