Going back to college in the end of August want to buy a rose hair, I'll be living with an RA, it's also my senoir year. I had a scorpion last year, didn't really get caught either.
I have all the needed materials, except substrate, so is it wrong to buy one when I return to school as long as...
I had an emp in it, I'm going to change the substrate. But its a Rubbermaid 18q
17.5x12.8x7 inches. Here are some pics, just wondering is this an adqueqate size for a rose hair?
Here's the box.

I scorpion passed away last night and now I want a Rose Hair, there is a reptile show where I live and he says all his roses are captive breed. She was already an adult when I got her.
So now I move onto the tarantulas any advice on what to do and what to do?
She died, sometime, stiff as a board actually. I had her for close to 8 months.
Time to move one, God's Speed Empress One Claw, God's Speed.
I hope it doesn't look bad that now I'm going to get a Rose Hair. You don't think it too soon. Should there be a delay, am I on Arachnid Rebound?
It's clear that she is on her last leg and is dying, tail extremely limp and lying straight out, doesn't even move when I mist, she's not molting or anything.
So what should I do, freezer or is there something else?
Or should I just wait for her to die?
I'm pretty sure she is dying, I've had her since september 07, and now all she does is drag her tail, I'm mean is straight on the ground, has picked it up or anything. I'm pretty sure she's on her death bed. I'm going to try and feed her today, and see what happens.
What Should I Do? I...
Could this be yeast? I've been reading other posts some saying that is could be a yest or nematode, but I don't think I see anything moving, I'm going to swab it with a wet q-tip today to see what happens.
I've noticed this white stuff on the mouth and I'm wondering is t a mold/fungus or something, if yes what can i do to get rid of it, I've had her for about 7 months now.

I really want a tarantula, but which is the better of these two. I've a empty 5 and half gallon tank and a small rubber maid fashion container.
Which is the best of the two to get if I can only get one, which would you recommed and why?
Mine hasn't eaten in about 2 weeks now, going on 3. I know that they can fast, but is there a common fasting time period. I mean she active and everything. She moves, will scurry away if blow on her or something. She looks healthy, her one claw is functioning well, it opens and closes.
It's...

I'm wondering if...
I know scorps can fast for a long time, but mine hasn't eaten in about 3 weeks, I mean I went and bought 3 crickets friday and dropped them in but she grabbed one held for about 20mins then let it go, she didn't eat it. I dropped a piece of carrot for food and a small waterbottle cap for water...
For some reasons crickets freak me out. And I hate that they can jump. I usually throw them in the fridge before I feed my emp. I was wondering would it be wrong to break their back legs so they can jump and make easier for my empress to catch?
I'm going on spring break, and I'm wondering can my emp go just about 2 weeks without food or a water change. I just fed her yesterday, 2 crickets she ate them right up. I don't leave til this weds. I plan on changing th water right before I leave so its at its freshest and also plan to to mist...
Recently I had to move my scorpion to different location (a drawer) the room temp is generally around 70-75. I don't have a heat light or mat, because It can't be in the open. So I took to filling of up hot water bottles, and placing them on the side. and misting with warm/hot water.
But not...
