Any Xenesthis species would be a good buy and unlike the Pamphobeteus, the females retain some bright colours too. I see that you bought a male, just know that while it's prettier than the female, it also has a much shorter lifespan. Are you planning to pair the male with a female in future?

I have 2 X intermedia slings. The main difference I can think of between Xenesthis and Pamphobeteus is that both male and female Xenesthis will display bright colours. Although the male one will be more colourful. Whereas a female Pamphobeteus will always be dull in colour.
