I have a GBB that I raised from a sling. Grew really fast and hit mature male in about 2 years. My male would constantly web almost his entire enclosure. From a sling up until his last molt, he was a good eater, but has now slowed down on his feeding.
I have a B Vagan getting ready to molt, It decided to seal off its hide and its been like that for a couple of days. Ill get pictures when it decides to come out!
she already looks happy! I went to pick up some crickets from the LPS and they had prepacked crickets and almost every container of their crickets was dead with mold in it. Not sure that they really cared. They had a panther chameleon that looked like it needed rescue but I couldn't justify...
Found this and contacted the person and waiting to hear back from them. Hopefully I can just ask to just adopt the LP. Tank setup doesn’t look too ideal for it. What do you guys think?
Just depend. Instant gratification on an adult or the long road to adulthood with the sling? Hehe I would be happy with either. Sorry I'm not much help.
Dave is an awesome person to work with. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered a GBB from him and got a freebie red rump. Everything was packaged well and arrived alive. His slings were bigger then what he listed. Highly recommend that you give him a try!!
This thread makes me think of when I use to run at Mission Trails in San Diego and seeing T's laying around on the trail. I wasn't into tarantula then. After getting into the hobby, I have not seen one in the wild in Washington State. LOL (no flame, I know they are not found out here)
