I think that's the male that has been mating with the mother the last few days. Most of the other babies left the mother today and I guess this one got confused

Does anyone know how to help C. Sculpturatus recover from household pesticide?

Thanks! Seems to be doing better already. It's not a tarantula. Thanks! It hasn't had much interest in water or prey so far but it does seem to be less awkward looking and a bit more mobile. Still ignoring the cricket though lol

Does anyone know how to help C. Sculpturatus recover from household pesticide?

Most of my C. Sculpturatus are wild-caught in my home and my family regularly sprays for other common pests (my area is bad for crickets and cockroaches). The poison is supposed to "slow scorpions down" but I don't really have more information besides that. I have a quarantine tank they stay in...

Do you have pics? I don't think I've seen any like that, but pics make it easier to be sure.

    Day/night temps!

My U. Mordax tank is room temp all the time and for my C. Sculpturatus, I just have my light turn off at night. I think they end up being around 90+ during the day and high 70s at night.

How do you introduce shipped scorpions to a communal safely?

What do you mean "they aren't communal"? Are you just referring to U. Mordax or are you making a statement about scorpions at large? Because C. Sculpturatus have been documented forming colonies in the wild, though I can't find any information about U. Mordax or most other scorpions besides just...

How do you introduce shipped scorpions to a communal safely?

I bought some U. Mordax online a while back and I must've done something wrong because I lost two of the four scorpions I bought. And by lost, I mean in the euphemism way. Those two were lost within the first few days and the remaining two have been fine together in the months since. Is there a...

They're in a 10 gallon vertical (if you look at my posts you can find more details). I try to keep it moist and add water to that gatorade cap when it gets empty. I also throw in crickets when I haven't seen any for a few days. They seem to like it.

    C. Sculpturatus remodel. Any critiques?

Thanks for the advice. I've stuck a hunk of wood in the gap area on the right side. One seems to like it at least.

    C. Sculpturatus remodel. Any critiques?

Four at the moment Most of the back wall is covered in sand so they can climb on it and there is a mostly upright brick. Do they prefer wood specifically? Most of the time I see them outside they are on the walls not the trees. @darkness975 Finally managed to get a pic from the front not...
