    A. Avic web?

Our A.avic is now a big adult female and is about six years old. She's webbed up the top 1/3rd of her vertical enclosure. This is the only avic we've owned out of about 75 T's over the years but I'm sure individuals all may act differently. My H.lividum I owned for years never did dig a deep...

Can i decorate enclosures with bark from outside?

I've used oak bark many times and just nuked it in the microwave or baked in the regular oven. It might smell up the kitchen a bit but never had any problems at all!

    What T's are "gentle giants"?

Yep on the pulchra, very docile & slow growth but that pretty much goes for all the Grammostola. Also, the OP didn't want anything that could "hurt" him. If you are tagged by any T it will hurt. Many Old World species have more potent venom but unless you have an allergy to wasp or bee stings...

    Enclosure size OK?

That looks plenty adequate for a corn. Mine is actually in a tank a bit smaller but I have my aspen deeper. If it was me i'd just get a bigger water dish that was big enough for him to soak in. Just my 2 cents. Great looking corn there!

    Question about t's in general??

I try to keep my house pretty much around 75 all year, but haven't noticed any difference in webbing and temp changes.

    Good water for my Ts

I've used distilled water that you can pick up for about .89 cents a gallon and, I've also used just plain tap water for years now with no probs.

    When did this happen?

I've been a member here a while and have never been a huge thread starter. As has been stated, I too usually just lurk & surf rather than start a thread with a question that could be answered with a couple of mouse clicks. Search is an easy way to answer most of the repetitive questions that...
