You should never feed a Babycurus jacksoni babies. They won't eat the whole baby, and then child protective services might get involved.

Yeah, I figured as much seeing as how there were like 5 of them all together. The top one is empty for sure. There are at least 2 of them that contain little dots that I think might be eggs. One of the 2 has dots about twice the size of the other.
The mother seems to have been lost or killed...
So I found these eggsacs in my hallway... No sign of the mama spider. I collected them gently with a cofee stirrer and placed them into a deli cup I had on hand.
Any idea how long it might take for whatever spiders in here to hatch? Also, any special precautions I should take in order to take...
I have a small colony that seems to thrive on only a moist paper towel. I have about 50 of the little guys in a small steralite container with nothing but a paper towel I moisten every day.
You have to remember to keep it moist as they are isopods and they get their oxygen from the moisture.
I've read that emps will actuall bathe in th water if you let them. I think drowning risk is minimal. Mind you... wait until someone more knowledgeable than me tells you that before deciding.;)
You can see in the third from the bottom picture kefka eating an (what I believe to be) Earwig. Is that ok you think? They outright refuse adult crickets and I could not find any pinheads around here anywhere for sale.
Earwigs are exceptionally easy to find around here.. pour a dab of vegetable...
