Buddy, I have around 60 Ts, multiple reptiles, !00s of plants(& I mean nerdy plants... like the ones you have shelves, fancy lights, terrariums for), multiple tubs of cockroaches & worms..... If I can get a gf then ANYONE can. ;)
Assume that 99% of gals(or any1) you meet will not be okay with...
Lol at least it has a healthy appetite. I think thats a good buy considering that people jack the prices way up with size.
The tank was also a good deal. They used to go for 10 bucks even with no lid but these days its at least 30 for a tank plus normal screen lid. Sliding lock lid top would...
Hey Scott,
I just got your package right on time. I've gotta say...... wow. Your packaging is amazing. Better than any & every website spider shop I've ordered from. Big thanks for the tiny enclosures as well. The versis look great in them =) All of the spiders were healthy, active, &...
Thats really unprofessional especially from an experienced breeder/seller.
I've ordered from a really well known dealer that has a nice big website that I'm sure a lot of you have ordered from. It was in the websites earlier days & I purchased some tiny slings with a hefty price tag. Well...
This
I used to just leave lids sitting on top of the cups/jars as to not disturb the Ts right after they catch their prey. Unfortunately, sometimes you forget to close them for a day & you end up finding missing Ts a few weeks later X_X
Don't handle Ts over hard flooring... especially large...
If there are any kids out there who were anything like me as a child... then most definitely yes
I had so many reptiles, exotic animals, birds, bred rabbits, bred sugar gliders, tissue cultured plants when I was 13. I had my own accounts to chemical vendors for lab supplies... Lol my...
Have you thought about buying a bit of a larger tarantula for your very 1st? Slings can be trickier to feed & less forgiving than mid sized T's for sure. They're prone to dry out if you happen to forget about them. If you're unable to readily find the right sized feeders & your mom isn't okay...
No opinion if they're fine for slings because I'd never bother with it while there are easier options out there. I used cut crickets or baby red runners. I've never had a sling refuse a piece of juicy, delicious, gooey insect pieces.
BUT, for you fisherman out there, maggots are great crappie...
Vix is more than happy to answer all questions in a timely manner. Very good communication. His packing is very unique and he knows what hes doing. You can tell when a breeder takes pride in what he does by the health & quality of his animals. It shows & he cares for customers to be just as...
I use plain peat moss or a mix of coco fiber. I don't use coco fiber or eco earth alone on burrowers because it dries really crumbly & caves in. Most webbers are fine with it.
You can get peat moss & coco coir or coco bricks for really cheap at home depot. A good sized bag of peat is $5 and a...
I agree b/c I know for a fact that for fedex drivers here in Dallas its normal to have over 100 stops which is much higher than smaller towns/cities. I'm sure that makes them a lot more careless when speeding around to finish. My buddy gets off work hours and hours earlier than the new guys who...
I have too many reasons to list so I'll keep it as short as possible.. lol
For 1, their prices are ridiculous especially for their sub-par service. Over $60 for overnight and over $30 for 2 day when usps offers overnight for less than fedex 2-day (25-30usd)
They deliver at random hours & never...
Is the food smaller than the T? Prekill it & leave it there for a day to see if it takes. A lot of breeders prekill all crickets when feeding slings. They usually eat them just as well & its a lot of trouble checking on hundreds or thousands of slings.
Thats unbelievable. So... you basically paid for a used box. The kind we get our slings & plants in then save for later use. Lol
I agree with Coldblood. You can get unlimited shipping boxes for free at usps (I DON'T SUPPORT FEDEX!) & then you can get a sheet of foamboard at home depot for under...
Agreed! We see rose hairs & the occasional A Avic around here. I once saw a chaco, curly hair, & Mexican red knee at one shop. Uncommon find for a local place! Lol
I agree with those who mentioned fiberglass insulation. It feels a little itchy for an hour or so. For T blondi & stirmi I get an itchy feeling at the back of my throat & my neck & chest itch for a whole day. Its nothing like poison oak or ivy for me. I react 100x worse to those. I get bad...
