Reactions to the bite of a stonecentipede

so then i guess your experience is the rule, rather than the exception. i've been bitten more than a few times myself. if they bite me on a calloused area, there's no reaction. it's different if i'm bitten on say, the back of the hand. is your only purpose to argue? that's gonna help the...

    Hardcore munchies

what do you think happens in nature? the life cycle of everything varies. in nature t's gorge then fast. eating is dependent on what's available. captivity is a man-made condition. feeding a couple crix a week year round is something one does to satisfy one's self. they're t's not dogs or cats...

    Scolopendra subspinipes 'Chinese giant red'

i'm sure that if you do a search, you'll find lots of info on these. i have one. i think it's the mai chai variant. i'm still getting used to it. it seems to be happy in a low ventilation enclosure with room to burrow. it'll leave it's terminal legs exposed near the surface lazily looking for a...

My pet skunk is a supa-star!

yeah, and you can't own a pittbull dog there either. there in denver a few years ago a cop stopped a family PASSING THROUGH, on the interstate. they confiscated the dog, fined the owners and put the dog to sleep. colorado doesn't have the brightest legal system. i own a pittbull dog and i've...

If satan retired whose T would take the job?

no tarantula qualifies..... a pede on the other hand is quite a different story!

Do you really have problems rehousing?

well, when you rehouse, generally the tarantula is taken from one enclosure and put into another. cleaning doesn't involve relocating the spider.

    heros find

no, i wasn't talking about colors specifically. more like a segment count question. on the second pede, third pic down there's the head, then the tergite directly behind the head seems to have an indentation in it. or is that 2 segments? i'll use the colors to map it out to make up for my...

    Using 'natural' products

i myself use natural decoration. driftwood from local streams, moss from the woods behind my house, and plants i find here and there. i've never had a problem. you might have problems getting plants from a nursery though. murseries and plant retailers use a lot of fertilizer to get plants to...
