This species is terrestrial. They live in sandy areas that require them to anchor there web from shrubs to the sand giving them an apperance that they like to go up. Plus a peanut butter jar is not that big of a distance for the guy to climb up to IMO. Great species and variey in wide ranges of...

It sounds like she just is not hungry enough to put the effort in it. Plus is her enviroment cold? Tarantulas are most diffenantly cool in they are always showing some different characteristic. When she wants to eat bad enough she will catch the crickets jumping legs or not. The seasons seem to...
My 4 year cares for our A.avics and rehouses by herself them when needed. (We do watch her) She also has a G.pulchra and a Chaco that have proven great. :)

I posted in the breeding report boards. Just was happy about a very successful insertion. The male was very funny, after hiding behind a rock, he then peek around the top right side of the rock just enough to see her. Then pulled back down as if to decide how to win her.

Sorry to repost this thread but I wanted to say thanks 2 Michael for the info. We now reserved two joining rooms at the Best Western. It is nice with kitchenette, mivcrowave, and refridgerator. And the biggest + is being with the crew. See you all there.
Thank you for the info. I will check out the Best Western a little more. But with 3 teenagers, 3 & 5 year old, space is important as air LOL. We will bring some Tarantula crafts from my family. The Denver group will see some Saturday. :D
