What bothers me is YouTube "experts" who are squeemish and jump or shout whenever a T is disrupted and moves, gets defensive, or strikes. I would be p/o'd too if someone was poking me. Or those that are afraid to even touch a cricket or roach.
Depends on the species. Some like to wander and roam, others don't. My 8" L parahybana sits in one spot on a log ALL the time. My much smaller C cyaneopubescens never stops. I'm sure it also has to do with how mature the T is too. Younger and smaller ones are more active.
Has anyone come up with a good device (like with a long tube) to get water down to the bottom without disrupting everything? I'm thinking especially of my arboreal C versicolor and L violaceopes.
I live in the U.S. mountain west - humidity low.
We keep the house around 70° F. A little low for the Ts. I convinced the wife/boss to let me put the Ts/roaches/crickets in a little 90" x 90 " laundry room on the far side of a low-use larger bathroom.
It would be easy to warm the small space up...
