    It’s not a clear pic, but judging from what I can see. It’s possibly an Amaurobius ferox, or some kind of plectreurys.

    Correct Lycosa is the genus and tarantula is the species. The L. tarantula was once called the tarantula wolf spider, but it’s still falls in the Lycosidae family. The Hogna fall in the Lycosidae family as well. I believe I’m wrong about this spider as well, but it does resembles a H. carolinensis.
