Do you keep Asbolus on a sand and coco fiber mixture to achieve the humidity, then? Mine are currently on just sand, but I'm willing to make adjustments!

I absolutely adore the pie-dish beetles! Are they kept simular to A. Verrucosus, or do they thrive better in damper conditions?

Haha what a great video! Moisture dependent, duly noted. My murinus "Dante" has been hiding in his new burrow now, seems to have rejected the old one. He's in one of the juvenile enclosures from Fear Not Tarantulas with a large water dish.

    E. murinus question

My E. murinus juvenile (about 2") has plugged up the entrance to its burrow and has been hanging out around it and in the middle of the cage. (Fossorial swamp setup, big water bowl). Could this be because of uneaten food in the burrow?

Taming down a King snake??? Tips???

Basin's advice is quite sound. No such thing as a 7 foot cal king though haha. I have tap trained several of my snakes successfully within a matter of weeks. Sounds like it has promise for you. However, it is true that sometimes they remain defensive.
