I ordered a few packages last year for x-mas gifts and the temps. were in the teens. they all showed up just fine. they usually get packed with heat packs but it's up to you really, if you want to risk it. usually the LAG gaurantees have temp. restrictions with most people so it would probably...
So does my girl. To hold her, I get her out of the cage then coax her to walk onto my hand. From there she's pretty docile. I'd suggest you try it that way if you really want to hold it. seems to work with all my defensive T's.
wow. there is quite a difference in the stripes from marshalli n darlingi. thanks for sharing, it helps alot.
well, in a situation that involves a specimen that has some characteristics that fit one species and some that fit another and can not be identified one way or the other without 100%...
ya, I saw a ventral shot of one in the gallery. the lower and upper seemed as one solid piece. I agree, that there seems to be features that fit and don't fit. perhaps a hybrid?
ya, she's a good 4" and I do have pretty big hands, lol. 8 1/2" from wrist to tip.
What is a good size for these adults? I've never really been attracted to this species, (and wouldn't have this one if she wasn't for free) so the most i've read up on them were their habitat.
---Well, here's...
darlingi's horn is nearly flat against the back. my girl's goes almost straight up with a slight curve (you can really see it in the pic from the link in the OP) like the marshalli. found a couple pics just for side by side comparison.
Darlingi...
Thank you. I've been trying to figure out why these species never caught on with me.
Excellent. I think I'm going to have to try and scrounge up a MM for her.
Well, I dug her out of her pit. what I found was this gorgeous little girl. She had molted. not sure when, since I haven't seen her above ground in about 8 months. She must have still been in her Juvie phase. After seeing her now, she looks like a Marshalli. here are a few pics.
I will have to check both of these suggested species out. nothing i saw really seemed to fit my Fem but this will give me a jumping point to start looking
put this up in the T identification section but no one seems to know, so, I thought i would bring it out here to see if I can get help identifying it. I have posted the link below. any help will be greatly appreciated.
