Hi everyone! I have seen quite a variety of home-made terrariums, etc. Does anyone have plans or step-by-steps to create one of acrylic or plexi? I'm looking at designing my own tanks, and may need some insider knowledge on the workings of various acrylic adhesives, latches, and more.
Substrate is not necessary, however, Hissers thrive wonderfully with reptibark on the bottom. Just an inch high is perfect. It filters down the feces, and the nymphs stay below the bark, while the adults congregate on the top, allowing for wonderful separation.

I think that utilizing all coconut fiber may cause potential issues, but as a mix with soil, I really have had no issues with impact ion. All species seem to do okay with a mix, and I actually prefer it because it allows a more solid environment for tunneling.
