    I usually feed it 3 adult feeder crickets once a week to week and half. Occasionally ornate head roaches. Should I over it a pre killed mouse or chicken liver to fatten it up?

    This is the more or less the position it's been in for the past few days. Just hovering around its water dish and drinking constantly. Its sluggish but responds readily to stimuli.

    I keep the humidity low but I do live in a humid part of the world. So 45% is about what I maintain. Temp is 76°

    Actually a milk cap is exactly what I use as his water dish and he is being kept at 85 degrees with humidity at about 40%. I'll try to look for a better sand. The other thing I have on hand is either pulverized walnut shells or excavator clay.

    No I recieved him healthy to my knowledge and have had him for about 6 months. He was sold to me on just coco fiber.

    Yea hes kept on a mixture of coco fiber and sand. He has standing water that he digs under and knocks over pretty frequently. The other castineceps is kept on the same substate and doing fine
