Is this normal behavior for a vinegaroon?

I was sort of thinking that but I wasn't sure because it has been eating really well lately, which I wouldn't expect from a pre-molt individual.

Is this normal behavior for a vinegaroon?

I got a vinegaroon about a month ago and I recently put more substrate and a giant rock in the enclose so he would have an easier time burrowing. Now he has burrowed all the way to the bottom of the cage through about 8 inches of substrate. Now what worries me is that lately instead of grabbing...

    who has the oldest T?

No its really uncommon. However I read in one of Schultz books that it occasionally happens but most of the time the males don't live after the second molt. When mine molted though the bulbs on the pedipalps were stuck during the molt and I manually had to help remove the skin. But the bulbs...

    Question about my H. vonwirthi

I change my T's dirt when it gets moldy and there's fruitflies. So this has happened but I'm not sure if I want to change the dirt. You see, she webbed herself in her burrow, and I think she might molt soon. So should I take the risk of changing her dirt and possibly intruding on her molt? or...

    Been thinking about a vivarium

If you like inverts than maybe you can put in a group of emporer scorps in there, but if you do this there is always a possibility of canabalism

    Normal behavior?

I have a female H. vonwirthi. She recently molted three days ago. She molted in her burrow (which I have never had a T do). I know she molted because she dug her burrow to the bottom of her cage so I can see her if I shine a flash light in. She hasn't even pushed her molt out of her burrow. and...

How can I get my parents to let me have a t ?

I've done this a few times, since my dad loves snakes, scorpions, tarantulas and what not. My dad and I will say we are going to get pinky mice and crickets for the critters, and than we happen to get a tarantula. And once I get home I quickly house it without my mom noticing. And whenever she...

So today I saw her acting wierd, she was webbing a bunch and kicking hairs in it. so I got excited and thought she was gonna flip. so I watched her do this for about 10 minutes and she still didn't flip. So I left for about 5...
