Hi Guys and gals,
I bought an H. Pulchripes from someone last year who sold it to me as a Juvenile female. When I got "her" she had the brilliant blue colour on her legs and was a beautiful golden colour on the abdomen etc.... "She" moulted about 4 weeks ago and has gone very dark in...
Bought this M. Balfouri commune at the BTS show last Sunday. My favourite addition to my collection. My very first show and I will never buy T's in a pet shop again. A week before the show I got a Juvenile M. Balfouri for £65.00. I got this 5 spider commune for £80. I could have cried.
I have read that the females of these have a lighter carapace than their male counterparts. I'm hoping this is a female. Does anyone agree or disagree?
I do really like these T's and am hoping to upgrade my collection with one at the BTS show in 2 weeks. Awesome picture btw. I have to ask though, how did you get it to just sit there while you bathed and conditioned it? How else could it be that fluffy :-)
I just a juvenile B. Boehmei last weekend. Please excuse my stupidity as I have only been keeping T's for about 6 weeks now. But how can you tell a hybrid from a true species?Brachypelma boehmei by Ian1980 posted Mar 19, 2018 at 7:43 PM

What...

My sub adult female curly hair T is behaving oddly at meal times. I give her a bug and she takes it quite normally. She holds on to it for a few hours and does the usual dancing and spinning around with it and the next day when i wake up there is a whole bug laying dead on the floor next to her...
