    a sick bonnie

Bonnie, my female Telodeinopus aoutii, isn't looking so good today. She is not moving and is very limp. She occasionally moves her antenna and feet. I have had her since 24th December 2022 and has been doing great until today. I'm sad because i think Bonnie is going to die.

    caribena versicolor enclosure

I was going to put vent holes mid way. Is the reason to have holes at the substrate level to create and up draft of flowing air?

    getting to know you

I've got a couple of Millipede species now and I've noticed that when i first began to handle them they would always secret the defensive chemical. But after i handled them a few more times they stopped. I'm guessing this is because they got to know my scent and learn that I'm not a threat to...

Comment by 'andy bunn' in media 'Lasiodora parahybana sling'

Lasiodora are a wonderful tarantula. They are so cute. My first tarantula was an Lp sling and he was amazing. Del toro had a really nice disposition and loved to climb.

Is my Telinodeinopus aoutii a female?

Is my Telinodeinopus aoutii a female? I think it is as I don't see a gap for genitalia between 7-8 pairs of legs found in males. Thanks

    Catumiri parvum information

I recently got a Catumiri parvum sling. Before and after I got it I've been looking for some info on husbandry. I've watched a very good video by Tom Moran. Does anyone here have any more info on this tarantula? Many thanks.

    Genus Hapalopus

This is crazy. I have just bought a tarantula as a Hapolopus Formosus but how do I know if it is one? Is the Hapolopus Columbia a different species or a renaming of Hapalopus Formosus? I read all the above and I'm sti confused.

Weirdest experience you’ve had with you T’s

Once when I offed my Lasiodora parahybana a meal worm he turned his back on me and slowly walked to his hide and stayed there for the rest of the day. Clearly he didn't want that meal worm. Also i often keep exuvia and one time I left one on top of the viv. A gust of wind moved it and my...

Weirdest experience you’ve had with you T’s

When I was killing time at a entomology fair whilst waiting for my wife I wondered over to a table of the hosts of the show. I had £1.50 in change in my pocket. My wife comes out and says what have you got there?
