Night stalker, I have her in a cocofiber sub, moist, a water dish, cork bark hide, and feed b lats 2 times weekly. She does dart down her hole, but I meant she seems more bold, even though she still stays in her burrow. She eats well, and her coloration is good. She doesn't seem to flick hairs...
Isn't M. robustum supposed to just be nervous? Whenever I stand within 5 feet of Descartes's enclosure, the thing throws a M. robustum threat posture at me, then runs up to the glass and throws a typical threat posture at me. How are your tarantula's tempers?
One of my friends owns an OBT, would like to know how painful the bite of an OBT is, what symptoms, etc. I heard they are vicious and they typically administer venom during a bite, is that true? Not thinking of getting one, just would like to know.

Correct me if I'm wrong, never having kept arboreals, but they tend to live shorter lifespans, right? I was told that some people hypothesized that the metabolism of arboreals compared to terrestrials caused them to live shorter lives? Forgive my newbie question.
I came home from a yard sale with a 2'' g. pulchripes. My parents freaked. How I convinced them to let me get it was tell my mother that I could, of course, get a snake instead... (probably cruel... don't shame me, I was 12) ;)
