P. Gigas male or female?

We have had our P. Metallica sling now for almost a month, he/she has never ate for us due to premolt. He/she molted 10 days ago and has not eaten, getting concerned for her. Can she molt again without eating. We have tried to feed her fruit flies and tiny crickets. She is about 1 1/4 inches.

I don't think that i will feed her a pinkie then. I am receiving her as a gift from my daughter and I just want to make sure that I know everything that I need to know and can to make sure that she is taken care of properly.

I have read that you feed a Brazilian White Knee crickets and sometimes a pinkie. Are there any other good sources of food besides the crickets that they would like to eat? Also, does the pinkie need to be alive or can it be frozen? Thank you
