    Visible hooks

My brachypelma vagans (Aragog) molted on Sunday and we're now able to see his hooks :) does this now mean he's mature and an adult? We've only had him for about 6 months and he's molted twice within our care. He would be roughly 9cm in length now :)

    Is this a hunger strike?

I thought they would get larger than 6/7cm as a mature adult?

    Is this a hunger strike?

My Grammostola pulchripes has not eaten since her molt back in November. I am wondering if there might be something wrong although she still drinks, webs and moves around. Her abdomen has been getting smaller, but I do not think it is wrinkled. She is about 6 or 7cm and I check on her all the...

    A mushroom?

It's wet by the water dish which is where the mushroom and mold was. I took it out and removed the mold as well as place new peat in the area. This is my step dad's Chilean Rose terrarium and she/he is about 6/7 cm. I already told/warned him about the enclosure height, and have placed more peat...

    Is a bald abdomen worrying?

Is her bald bum and lack of dark coloration anything to be worried about? I heard they kick off hairs to help with throttling process... Is this correct in this case? Please let me know! Thank you in advance

Chaco Golden knee not eating after molt 3 weeks ago

She is large, and we feed her live cockroaches - which she ate before her molt. So I am thinking she's just not hungry, and perfectly fine because she's been webbing her home every night and drinking water normally.

So if that is the case, how would i help the spider? I can't? Because even if I make it into a paste, they can't suck up the food?

So they would be born with this? Or this happens if their molt doesn't go well?

Chaco Golden knee not eating after molt 3 weeks ago

I tried to feed her a week after her molt, she usually climbs up the enclosure walls when I mist if that is anything weird? I only mist twice a week and do not make the peat damp, just thought if she was hovering over her water she wanted more humidity.

I do not know the sex yet; as he/she is only 7cm, but Isabelle molted 3 weeks ago and has not eaten.. I do know that they grow slowly and have taken it into consideration. Yesterday Isabelle was hovering over her water bowl for half of the day so I increased the humidity by spraying into her...
