Here's a place in Oregon that makes backdrops for tanks: http://www.designsbynature.net/
These are their 20 gallon long ones:

I haven't played Pokemon in years, but older people who play Pokemon usually play it for the multiplayer aspect, which is actually kinda deep and has changed a lot since the first couple of games. The single player has always been boring though, IMO.
They also made a centipede one for the...
You could also try asking a restaurant for some or even check Craigslist. If you want to buy them online, this site sells them for the cheapest that I've found (without having to buy thousands at once): http://www.enasco.com/product/9716631
Grammostola pulchripes are usually pretty docile and recommended for beginners. I have four of them and none have ever given me a threat pose or tried to bite.
Well, he did say he was still waiting to hear what his sentence is, so I'd assume he's going to be punished in some way. If not, then disregard what I said. :o
A lot of the tarantula buying public already does have that mentality of the person you quoted.
I'm sure many people here buy from sellers who use USPS due to the cheaper shipping rates, even though shipping via USPS in an unmarked box is illegal. They don't care that they're violating a...
Okay, so he cheated the system. People are cheating the system here every day in the classifieds and advertising that they ship illegally. I guess I just don't get why it's okay for sellers to cheat the system when shipping/receiving state to state illegally, but when they do it...

The tone of most of the posts seem a bit different than the ones in this thread.
I also don't get why people who ship/receive tarantulas in unlabeled boxes via USPS are being so harsh on him. Why is it okay for some...
The Lacey act is a federal law, I believe. From what I've read, at the very least you need to put "wildlife" on the outside of the box, and include an easily accessible packing slip inside the package stating the common name, species and quantity of animals it contains.
On a corn snake...
Honest question: Is shipping via USPS in an unmarked box considered "brown boxing"? Everything I've read points to it being a violation of the Lacey Act and technically illegal.

I know that's not what Paul got in trouble...
No one "needs" to own a pet dog or horse either, and I believe those pet animals kill more people per year than any other. Would it be okay to ban those too?
If they want to ban them in areas where they can become invasive, I suppose that's fine. But you'd think if they were that worried...
I believe it is against the Lacey Act to ship animals without properly labeling what's inside the box. The USPS does not knowingly ship tarantulas, so people who ship USPS do not label the box to get around it instead of getting an approved account with other shipping companies (because it is...
I’ve never shipped a tarantula before, but would a properly packed tarantula be able to injure its abdomen like that (barring it trying to molt or something)?
While I think it would be the right thing to refund regardless (unless previously stated he doesn't cover shipping), you should...
I found the replies to the second video to be quite disturbing. I can't believe people would get so worked up over putting a bug in water and wishing death or harm on someone over it. :(
There will be a reptile show August 14th in Wilsonville. According to the vendor list, Tarantulas.com will be there and I'm sure other vendors will be selling tarantulas and other creepy crawlies. :)

I purchased this as a Scolopendra heros, but it looks more like a Scolopendra polymorpha from pictures I've seen.
I'm a complete centipede noob though and so I could be wrong. I'd guess its around 4 inches long.
Any help is appreciated. :)
Sorry if the pictures are too bad or if I...
I have a cat that used to tear up our window screens and shred the carpet by the front door. I put Soft Paw nail caps on her, and within two weeks she stopped scratching and I was able to take them off. I have also adopted a cat that was declawed by its previous owners and it had a hard time...
