Handling any scorpion is not a bright idea regardless, however while B. Jacksoni can pack a bit of a punch if you're stung, they are relatively harmless to handle.
Based on what I see in picture 5, are you sure 'she' was a she? Unless I'm going blind in my old age, the genital operculum appears ovular, and the pectines are fairly long.
My emperor's last molt took over 9 months. And I'm pretty sure she's got atleast one more to go, too. So, don't be surprised if it takes a loooong time.
The pictures in my initial post are the ones I'm not sure about.
The picture you replied to is a reference to another scorpion I have, that I am 100% sure is a P. imperator, as indicated by this picture:

I just posted...
Just as a reference... this is a P. imperator that I'm 99.99% sure is female.

Where's Thaedion when I need him... ;)
I received this as a P. cavimanus. I'm pretty sure it is, but was wondering if I could get a definite on the ID, as well as sex and if someone could possibly guess at whether it's an adult or an immature. Thanks.

Scorpions tend to avoid things bigger than them, so looking in places people are probably isn't the best idea. The less around there is, the better your search is probably going to be.
My girl finally molted for the second time since I've had her. Took long enough... I believe it's been roughly 8 months, maybe a little more. She's been ballooned up for awhile now, and there didn't seem to be any indication she was going to go any time soon. I checked on her yesterday before...
Leave the left over molt for now, it shouldn't cause an issue.
The baby will do well on it's own now that it's molted to 2I. You can feed it small pre-killed crickets (Although they usually do fine catching live ones themselves). Don't worry too much about it not eating right now, they can go...
Was it fed previous to the inactive period? I've noticed alot of my scorpions, once they've had a good meal, go pretty inactive for a few hours, especially if it's been a particularly large meal.
