It's weird. I found that mine was somewhat slow from 1/4" to 3/4" and then it just exploded in growth. it was insane. In it's first year it has reached 5.75" from 1/4".

Some of my females (P.tigrinawesseli, P.hanumavilasumica, P.fasciata for the most part) tap and there is not even a mature male nearby, all are immature males. Seemed very odd to me but I've come to accept it as normal.
Well, I would be dead so....like I wouldn't be around to worry about it. This is why I have never thought about "what happens to ___ after I die?", you're dead, enjoy the peace of not having to care about such things life brings.
@RezonantVoid Far less venomous. A bite from this does contain neurotoxins but it is not nearly as likely to kill you. With that said, this is still a species you do not want to be bitten by.
