@EulersK I have taken another picture, this time rotated and slightly closer. I don't know if it will be any good as this is the first time I've tried to have a molt sexed. From my view, I can't seem to see any sort of flap where one would be for a female... but again I haven't ever done this...

@FrDoc @Olan I have my other terrestrials in RUBs or the deep plastic enclosures with the grilled lids, both with the substrate a couple inches deep (so distance between substrate and lid is no more than 2x leg span at the most). Its just the two bigger ones that are in the exoterras, but I...

I don't know whether or not it is big enough (or in good enough a condition) to be used, nor do I know if the pic is any good but thought I'd give it a shot. Thanks.

@cold blood Why aren't exoterras appropriate? I have kept my L. Parahybana in one for nearly 2 years now and never had any problems with it (although that may be down to the fact that it made a giant burrow and refused to come out unless for water (at least, I never saw it)). P.S, It is a...

@Goopyguy56 @Olan Thanks very much, now to try to get it up on the sides of the tank to get a picture for sexing attempts.

@IncoherentScreeching I would like to get a hold of a molt from it that hasn't been completely destroyed lol. I have it but it is in pieces, and I couldn't get to it before it dried out as it molted inside of its burrow. So by the time I found out it was too late :( I have another picture here...

    A. geniculata?

Recently bought this T from a keeper in the local area, they didn't know what it was and I assumed A. Genic from the pics. Thought I'd ask for more opinions. Thanks.

I'll keep that method in mind for next time :) Thanks for the idea!!! Certainly sounds a bit more... 'escape proof' lol

    Suitable enclosure for P. Metallica?

Update, its now moved and is sat under on of the leaves in there :) So its... 'happy', I'm going to put some cork bark in there as a hide, and I've got a piece of branch in there for climbing. Whats the bag method?

    Suitable enclosure for P. Metallica?

Before I tried to move it, I did look across the forums for advice. One thing that came up was to do the rehousing inside of a larger container, and am I glad I did. As i opened the lid, I blinked and it was out on the sides of the larger container! We'll see how I do, hopefully I will be ok...

    Suitable enclosure for P. Metallica?

Thanks for the feedback! I tried for good ventilation as I know the effects of an enclosure without it. I moved it 2 days ago, but my god I thought my terrestrial T's were fast. You read about how quick Pokies are... but thats another level lol. I have to go and grab a few bits from the local...

    Suitable enclosure for P. Metallica?

Hiya! I recently acquired what I was told was a P. Metallica, and within a week it had molted (to its current size). This is my first arboreal T (I have 5 terrestrials) and I am not sure about the enclosure. I know that it needs height over floor space, so I bought a small 24oz soup container to...

@Liquifin I never planned on breeding it. I would just like to know what species of T it is, I've put it down as a L.parahybana in my logs as thats what it was sold to me as but the place I bought them from isn't always the most reliable source of info... but ehh, its big (ish), pretty, and is...

@weibkreux I'll try to get another photo when she next decides to come out of her hidey hole. I only see her for about 10 mins every day when she drinks before she goes back under lol. Might wait till she molts next as colour will be more visible? I've also got to try to get a ventral shot to...

I didn't really think of L. striatipes, it may very well be. 'She' does love a good burrow (as do L. striatipes looking at their care sheet!) I'll research further!!!
